Ober Gatlinburg Ski
Resort & Amusement Park - A scenic
chairlift, Alpine Slide, indoor ice rink and
in the winter, downhill skiing and snow boarding
are all accessible by way of one of America's
largest trams, the Ober Gatlinburg Aerial Tramway,
which departs and returns to downtown Gatlinburg.
The Alpine Slide is a
year-round adventure for the non-skilled adventurer.
The rider takes the Scenic Chairlift up the
mountain, gets in a sled and controls the brakes
on a 1800 foot bobsled-type descent! Eight
ski trails provide a challenge for every skill
level from beginner to advanced and are open
from mid-December through March. Other year-round
